Prizm V

Anybody out there have any ideas on how the Prizm V compares to other models and even other brands for depth and performance.

Hey Mike... I don't know how it compares to those other machines that you have but I have the Prizm V and it is an all around good machine. I have owned a Whites Classic ID for 4 years then decided the Prizm V would be a good upgrade. And from what I have used it it works very well for the price. The depth readout I think is for the most part very accurate and I really like the tone id. This helps you realize if your target is a good one before you even look at the screen. It is a very light model so it doesnt cause you arm to cramp up that eaisly like heaiver model detectors do. I think overal the prizm V is a great detector. Mike

Thanks Mike, I had one for a short time. But, only used it around in my yard where there were no deep targets. So, was just wanting to know if anyone had actually used it in the field along where they had used others. I agree it is a good machine with lots of great features. Thinking about another one for a backup and loaner machine. Hard for me to loan out my MXT or M6.
