Good friend of ours here scored this coin a couple of months back. Its a rare Sydney mint gold Sovereign. At first he thought it was a few thou, later maybe 8, but a bloke recently offered him $12,000. A dream find huh!
 
Unreal...tell him to send his story to Whites. As a matter of fact, tell him to let US know the story.

No I don't blame him one bit...just trying to keep it light. I WOULD love to hear the story behind the find without any details for the lurkers to pick up...it's gotta be a good one...
