prizm 4 coils

dino

New member
just got a used prizm 4--with the 8 inch coil-the soild one---what do you all think --should l get the 9.5 coil-how much do you think--- a used one will cost ??? is it worth it ???--my wife will be using the 4--dino

I have both coils for my Prizm IV and very pleased with them. I find the 9.5 coil will get a little more depth than the stock 8" coil. Plus I get better ground coverage on the beach or in the not-so-trashy field. For me the 9.5 is a keeper. :whites:

I got rid of my Prizm IV primarily because of the poor choice of coils. In trashy parks I would have preferred a smaller coil than the stock 8" and in those conditions the 9.5 would be definitely a move in the wrong direction. Personally feel that your best bet is to stick with the 8" and get to know the machine well. My two bits.

The 8 inch coil is the best coin shooter. If Whites ever makes a 6 inch coil then that would be even better.
