Prices of wheat pennies ? Help

Im apologize for all these wheat pennie questions...I got a list of the prices of all wheat pennies in mint condition.........This may souns like a dumb question but are these wheat pennies we find in the ground worth something ??? In mint shape some are worth the high 6 figures......I found a 1944 wheat penny and its listed as some outragous price....like 600,000,000 $$$$. So if these wheat pennies are worth that much in mint are they worth a few thousand in ok shape ?
I thought I had a 1943 wheat pennie but it was a 1944. I also have a 1913 wheat pennie...these are both in pretty good shape...are they worth anything ?
Thanks !!!

A 1944 wheat,,mint state 65,,the highest grade possible,,,,is worth about $1.50.(1944 is very common)
But almost every wheat found is worth more than a penny,,some just dollars,,some could be $20. Unless they are really bad shape they are worth more than face value.
You need a red book. lol

there was a site a guy gave me...it was wheatpennyfinds.com

It lists outrages prices on the pennies in mint condition

I think some steel wheat 1944 pennies are worth a lot of money as is the 1922 plain, 1909s vdb, and others. The rest are worth only face value since you cannot melt them for the copper. A 1943 wheat is the holy grail of wheat pennies, worth $$$$$$$$$$$$

[size=large]according to the official red book, the best you can do for a 1943 is to find or have the 1943-d bold double stamped penny. the best price is $250.00. someone is passing bogus info on prices. if you can get $$$$$ for a penny go for it. don't let anyone talk you into letting them sell it for you.
that'll be the last time you ever see it. a fool and his penny are soon parted.
The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

[size=large]John(tx) showed why investing in the red or blue books can help. they explain why coins are made of what and when. even if you don't deal in coins these books make for great reading and understanding of why we get some of the readings from differant coins that we do.
