Price hike on 4.5 X 7 Excelerator?

I have been considering purchasing a 4.5 X 7 Excelerator coil for several weeks from Kellyco. Am I imagining things or has the price increased by $50 very recently?

yep, you are right. i bought mine just about 10 days ago for 149.95. so far so good. i use it on my mxt. found a 1967 quarter at just about 5 1/2 inches. today i found my first silver quarter. it is a 1929 standing liberty. what a feeling to pop that thing out of the ground. hh
by the way that 1929 quarter was not at all deep. it was just about an inch down in packed sandy soil that was dry and no grass here in the phx.area

The 5" EXcelerator went from $119 to $185 yet the 8"Excelerator is like $189. I guess all the talk about small coils got the prices up.

I'm glad I got the 5" and 8" for $90 a piece. I have to thank the forum for that. Rob

I like it a lot. You can't beat it in trashy parks and it is super around playground equipment. You will see Monte gave it his approval. I've had mine since December. They didn't offer the 4.5x7 then. I heard it is good. According to JW the 8' is a little deeper than the 4.5x7. I've found gold with that 5". Rob

I like to hunt trashy areas but with limited time to hunt and can't always stay there to dig everything and find the smaller coils do help pull some good stuff out of the mess. I'm using the 4.5x7" on an M6 and like it also but i'm finding the 5.3 Eclipse to be a little bit deeper but the Excelerator has better separation. Thanks for your input and Congrats on the Gold. HH Bill
