Price and MXT package deals

kind of ticks me off. I have all those things. Talk to a dealer or Whites and you have to get the package deal. All I want is the detector. And I dont want to spend my time trying to sell the extras. Ive read some getting help with the coil swap out also. The dealers I talked with close to me claim to know nothing about the coil swap out either. Yeah Im venting, Ive been wanting another machine, and Whites is what Ive always used, did have my eye on the AT Pro but decided to go with a MXT Pro. So if anyone knows how to get a detector and not pay for all the extras, cause you and I both know its included in the price plus a D2 or 9.5 coil, please help me out.

Kellyco is the only authorized White's dealer to do mail order although I'm sure you will get a couple of PM's from dealers risking their dealership. Talk to JW at Kellyco and see if he will work with you. I would also talk to White's and tell them what you want, I think they would work with you.
 
Hey Larry, like always a great person. I have done just what you suggested, within the past hour or so. Neither would work with me.
Dont know what Im gonna do at this point. I really and sincerely hate to, but the new AT Pro is looking really good for what/how I like to detect.
Im not fooling myself, Im not a professional detetorist such as someone like you, Monte and others. Im sure either machine will work out for
me and how much I get to detect. I had just decided to stick with Whites.

I wouldn't give up on the machine that you really want John. The extras don't add that much to the price and that is why the dealers are not willing to discount without them. The AT Pro is a nice machine and I'm familiar with it, in fact I'm a Moderator of the Garrett forums as well as White's. I could be wrong, have been many times, but I think you would not be happy with the AT since you are so familiar with the White's line. IMHO the only advantage of the AT is if you were going to do any water hunting, if not, I would stick with the MXT Pro. Give me a little time and see what, if anything I can do for you.
 
Thank you Larry. Yes, I was wanting the MXT Pro first off, until I started reading some of Keith Southerns comments. I almost forgot who I was,lol. Certainly no pro, but I do love to hit my corn, soybean and cottonfields where old homesites,plantations use to be.

[size=large]i ended up with a four month old MXT PRO with just what i wanted. a D2 coil. i also got what i feel was a very good deal in that it already had a DX-1 Sun Ray Probe mounted on it. all because i stumbled onto a deal fron Indian Nations in Oklahoma. that got me a great price,$725.00, the coil i wanted and the Probe.and a whites cap. lost only four months on the warranty? nope. registered it with whites and they dated my warranty from the date i called them. now that's how you can get the MXT Pro with the coil you want. don't ever think them deals are gone. i don't think you'll go wrong with an AT Pro as long as it's trouble free.
