Previous two hunts. Lots of cool stuff

Mike and I lucked into 2 great permissions the last 2 hunts. You know how it is sometimes, places that seem like they could produce and they don't. But these 2 did.
the first one was in a corn field that once had a school in it on the 1866 map. We went there last year and got some buttons and 2 Hard Times tokens. This times we wandered all over the place and then finally found the hot spot which was close to the road, of course..lol.. We found numerous buttons one of which is from an infantry mans uniform from the War of 1812, 2 musket balls, a brass finger ring and a 2 cent piece that looks great especially from being in a farm field. You should of seem Mike's face when he saw it. I have video that I'll post asap.
The 2nd site was from a farm house and the front lawn was amazing. Mike found 2 large cents, 2 Rosies and a cool medallion from the Grand Army of the Republic encampment in Buffalo, NY in 1897. I get a silver Washington quarter, a Merc, a very toasted Shield Nickle and a large silver ring.
Just you that even tho this is an XP Deus forum which i use but Mike has a CTX 3030 but I have to combine them in one post as Mike doesn't post and we hunt so muc together that it all seems to go together.
I think that I can only upload 6 photos so I'll try to get the best of what I can with that limit.
I've been having my ups and downs with the Deus even tho I've had it for almost 4 years. I just cannot seem to become one with it. Some days i'm great and some days i want to throw it in the river. I've seen hundreds of videos, read and re-read Andy's book and know all about the settings yet there are times when it doesn't seem to matter what settings i try i cannot make it work for me. going from the 11 inch coil to the 9 inch has helped. The V4 settings especially the negative disc seems to help some of the time. I think part of my problem is that I keep trying to use the full tones and since I wear hearing aids I think that when i am in a heavy chatter zone I cannot pick out the good tones even when I go super slow. When I try using multi tones I just don't like it. I think I need a one on one class with Andy one of these days if I can ever make that happen. All I know is that Mike with the 3030 kicks my butt most of the time. I keep telling him I hate him for that...lol..
So here's some pictures.
