Pretty Good Day for Silver (5 Sep)

Took a vacation day Friday to hunt an old pounded park. Talked to the guy mowing the grass
and he said he sees people hunting all the time. Did see a couple other guys detecting in
my last couple times out. One guy was using an E-trac, and he did show me a Barber dime
that he found while there. Mainly use the 6x8 sef, but decided to put the stock coil back on.
Seemed to work well, even with two or three nails in the hole, place is riddled with them.

Just goes to show trying something different like in your case a different coil can sniff out any remaining stubborn coins.
I can usually squeeze out a silver from the pounded out parks around here but 5 in one day is excellent detecting!
