what headphones do you prefer for tesoro machines? id like to buy a new pair for my cibola,im currently using a pair of koss head phones that are probably older than i am. i use gray ghost ultimates for the tejon and love em but would like to try something else. how are the jolly rogers? or maybe killer bees?

I only own the basic Killer B's and use them on the Euro Saber, Eldorado and Silver Sabre uMax. They were $72. No tax and no shipping.

Life time warranty.

Quality of construction is excellent.

Performance is excellent.

Value for the price is outstanding.

How can you go wrong?

I'm not a sales person:blink:

HH,

I have the killer bee's that I use on my Vaquero which I like very much.
I don't think you will be disappointed in those.
Great volume also.

I really like detector pro black widows on the cortes.Extra heavy pad's that really block the sound out,and let you hearjust the detector. hh kd

I have dual volume control Calrad headphones that I will switch over to my Ace 250 and get Killer B's for my Tesoros.

Killer B's sorta mid tone, Rats and Gray Ghosts more base tone. I myself like the Killer B's when hunting parks, school grounds and such. When hunting high noise areas I like either the Rat's or Gray Ghost as they block out more Back Ground Noise.

A friend of mine told me to go to Wal-Mart and purchase Ear Buds. I too use the Grey Ghost, but mine will occasionally malfunction. I took my friends advice and purchased several Ear Buds, which cost $0.97 each. All you need to do is put a drop of Super Glue on the ear connection areas and the wires as well as purchase a larger adapter from radio shack so you can plug the Ear Buds into your detector and you can start detecting. The ear pieces are much smaller than other head phones, but you cannot beat the price. The Ear Buds even work with my Mine Lab Detectors. Good Luck and happy hunting.

Hi INRelichound, I have two sets of phones, Sunray Pro Gold, and R.A.T's...

I mostly use the R.A.Ts.

That is taking NOTHING away from the Sunrays ~ both phones are premium + quality.

I prefer the single volume Green Killer B's. I use them on all my detectors. I have 2 pair (I keep one for backup just in case).

I also use and like the single volume Killer B's.

They are very clear and I can hear some things outside the headphones. I like that because I almost never detect in high noise areas.

I can even hear my pin pointer respond without having to take my headphones off. That's very convenient:)

HH,

I also love the single volume killer b's. I use them on the Tejon. Tabdog has a good point - You can also still hear the world around you a little - which is a good thing if you detect a spot where you need to watch your back . . .
