Predictions??

So many of you know about the Monte Nail Board Test we are doing. I can't speak for anyone else but here is what I will be testing...

Tesoro Outlaw:
5.75" coil
8" coil
12x10 DD

Whites Idx:
9.5" Coil
5.75 Bulleye

Fisher F2:
8" coil
4" Puck

Any predections on how they will perform? I have been testing them all and documenting, but will not disclose any results, I will leave that to Monte. Just wondering what some may think the outcome will be that's all. I'm testing in real life situation too, in the grass and not in my garage or home like many youtube vids. The fluorescent lights in my garage make some weird detector results. Also testing with different swing speeds, sensitivity, and coil heights. So lets see everyone's predictions.

Is this the coin next to the nail test where you sweep over the nail and try to pick the coin up?

Well I tested 4 detectors and was both amazed and surprised by the results - but those will be delivered by Monte. While the results were intriguing, I'm not yet sure they will change which detector I grab for any given situation. The tests certainly indicated my other options are at least worth a try in some of those situations.

I tested:

Fisher 1236x2
Stock coil (8"?)

White's M6
Stock 9.5"
4x6"

Minelab Etrac
Stock 11"
15" WOT
4.5x7" Excelerator
6" Excelerator
6x8" SEF

For me, the M6 performed pretty much as I expected. The real shockers were the Fisher and the Minelab. I also tested a Garret ATPro, but opted not to include the results due to my lack of experience with the machine. (It may have fared better if I was sure I had it set up right - which I wasn't.)

I'm really anxious to see the results!
