Saw the Predator series of detectors made by Garrett for Kellyco. Are they just Ace detectors ....repackaged? The target id/ pinpoint system looked interesting. And I'm told that their coils are....... much lighter...... than the one on the Ace series. Anyone used one of these.....what can you say about it??? Thanks.

Older technology, much further from excellence then the ACE

The Predator is the old Garrett Ace 100/200/300 series from yewars ago sold as a "private label" by Kellyco. I field tested these machines many years ago for Garrett. They aren't a bad detector but a little long in the tooth compared to current technology. The new Ace series are a much better choice.
