"Brian has had two good days and he has eaten all day today. The swelling has finally subsided enough to allow him to swallow. He went from Monday night to Friday without eating anything and lost 8 pounds. He is getting his strength back and is getting used to his trach. "

If all goes well Saturday they may be on their way home...they have special medical supplies they are waiting on or they'd have been home by now.
