Prayers needed for Matt Hieder family!......

A tankert ruck loaded with gasoline slid into an intersection last night hitting a van. Matt was driving the van with his 12 year old daughter as a passenger. He was knocked un-conscious. The daughter escaped but he was burned to death in the van. The tanker rolled and spilled it's gasoline and it ignited. The daughter had played a violin at my daughters wedding. The daughter is physically ok but her mental and emotional state is not good because she couldn't save her dad. The late evening news carried the story and it may be on the national news tonight. Matt had eight children.

The daughter wasn't the one that played the violin at my younger daughters wedding but an older sister. There are eight children in the family. Matt was an anethesiologist. One of the lady's at church is a nurse at one of the local hospitals and had worked with him. The youth pastor's wife taught piano to the girl that played ther violin at the wedding. My son-in-law to the youngest daughter said that when the call went out to the volunteer fire department that it was for a vehicle fire that was engulfed and there was someone inside. They are having a rough time dealing with it also. One of the lady's I work with in AWANA was coming into town and saw the flames. She immediately turned around and went a different direction while praying. The Heider family had a new house being built down the road from another family at church. All these connections in a city 40,000 and a county of 102,00.
