Prayers for my sister, Carolyn, please....

Ma Betty in MO

She hurt her back and hip badly, yesterday, trying to open and close a stuck sliding patio door! David is still in Barnes, so he had his son, Bobby, to go there and see about her...they live on the same road not too far apart! He called the ambulance for her and then drove her home in her car and helped by putting wood on the hearth and in the heating stove to keep the house warm, so she wouldn't have to do it and is looking after her when he can! She did have to remove ashes but used a roller chair to sit on to do it and is okay right now! She is allergic to pain meds so nothing she can take to ease her pain, only through prayers for God's healing and comforting touch in Jesus' name! She is a prayer warrior too and has great faith in our Lord Jesus Christ! Her granddaughter might come and stay with her, if she can find a way to get there, although she can drive, she doesn't have a car! Carolyn can't drive at all and has to stay home....even from attending church....where she loves to go to worship Jehovah God and His beloved Son, Jesus! Amen! Ma

Talked to her earlier and she is doing some better, but had to get in wood again, so she isn't the greatest as yet....still cannot drive....someone is going to come and get her and take her to the store to do some grocery shopping! Really difficult to be alone and not be able to do much for yourself! Never no when we might be in that shape and alone, as we get older and more unhealthy with old age! Her husband did have surgery but wasn't as bad as the drs were thinking it would be....didn't put in a new defibrillator but drained the infections that were making him so sick, so we will have to wait and see if he improves or not or he gets sicker from the Staff Infections! He is not well and just may not make it out of the hospital alive this time but time will tell! Thanks for everyone's prayers for Carolyn and also David! Ma

Thanks Leslie, Carolyn still cannot drive but is doing some better with her back and hip! David is supposed to get out of Barnes Hospital tomorrow but will need to have two IV's taken care of at home...so looking into a Social Service nurse to come and take care of him during the day! Jesus gives us hope in that He is a loving, caring and healing Savior and Lord! Amen! Ma
