...Sarah was in a fender bender this evening. The Explorer that hit her car took off her front bumper and headlights. Sarah had a friend with her and there were 2 adults and 3 children in the Explorer. Thankfully no one was hurt and neither driver was issued a citation. The damage to the Explorer was the passenger side front and rear doors and the front right tire had a piece of plastic from Sarah's bumper stuck between the rim and tire causing a small leak. The young man driving the Explorer didn't have a spare or any money to get it fixed so I followed him to a repair shop to have the plastic removed from the tire and make sure the tire wasn't punctured. I paid for the repair because I didn't want him taking a chance driving it that way and having a flat. He called his dad and his dad wouldn't come to help him. The bad news is I don't have collision insurance on her car so will have to fix it myself or she'll have to buy her a new car. It will be fun now trying to shuffle Sarah to work, school, etc, etc. until we can resolve this.
Thanks for the prayers!!
