Many of you know Larry Armstrong or have heard of his great work for so many years as a true dedicated hard worker for metal detector users and prospectors. He is a member and officer of several organizations that fight for your rights to access public lands and enjoy a positive future in your hobby. He is a board member and State Director of Kansas of WWATS and a liaison for WWATS and other organizations that has alike problems as we do.
Larry's wife, Gloria contacted me Christmas eve and told me Larry would be spending his Christmas in the hospital. Larry had gone thru surgery successfully for a failed Colon and they had just move him out of intensive care to a private room that morning. Gloria said she knew it was bad when Larry asked her to call the ambulance Friday night. She said they hope his improvement continues and his strength comes back so he can go home.
