I just got this one sent to me.
I am not sure if you know, but Jim was diagnosed in Sept. with Esophageal/Stomach Cancer. It was caught very early (Stage 1-2) He is now in his third Chemo round and on his fifth week of Radiation. He was doing excellent up until this last round of Chemo and it is hitting him hard. He has been working full time during all this. He had surgery back in Oct. and had a J-tube put into his intestine's and is using that to get his nutritional supplement since he is unable at this time to eat anything. He has lost around 40 pounds. When he is finished with all this he will have surgery in Atlanta at Emory University Hospital to remove the junction of his esophagus and stomach.......I think it is called a "resection". We only have the two of us down here for emotional support, so all prayers are welcomed for his recovery. The plant is closing down here at the end of Feb. and we will be here another 2 months after that and his surgery is around that time too, so much going on here. We have no idea yet where we will be moving to either but we really are hoping to move back to Ohio, home and family.
Jim misses metal detecting and hasn't been able to do any much the past two to three years since moving here in Georgia with work keeping him so busy.
Prayer's are powerful and we sure could use any emotional support with prayers.
