We may not understand the 'why' of many things in this lifetime but we need to rest in the knowledge that God loves us - Satan hates us - so trust God and do what pleases God. I found that by pleasing God it makes Satan mad. God will provide comfort and in my case I foundand understanding of my Dad's life I had not understood before his death.
I hope your Dad was saved and even if we never know for sure, we don't know what happens between man and God in the last moments of one's life. May God's peace and comfort help you through this tough time in your life. God bless Andy, you and all those who knew and will miss your Dad.
