Mark
My wife has had cancer several times, and she makes a beeline to Church and calls for the elders every time to get a cold drink of water. She goes straight to the head of the stream. God is still in the healing business. She had surgery to her throat, and (36) thirty-six radiation treatments to her neck. She has been diagnosed with cancer since. We both believe standing on scripture.
Jas 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
Jas 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Jas 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
Jas 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
My wife is a LPN. She is retired. The cancer forced her to go onto disability.
Is any sick among you? 'let him call for the elders' of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
There is always a message in Gods' Word!
Any Christian that hears you, or your wife ask for prayer for your wife, 'they will pray'. Moreover, a Christian should pray for your wife even if she does not ask for it! It is their Christian duty to pray for her!
