Prayer request!.......

A brother in my SS classs asked for prayer. His wife Jo left him, and he just found out that she has been doing crack cocain. There are many other problems also. He asks that we pray that she would be surrounded by Christians so that she will come back to the Lord.

God instructed the Corinthian church to not fellowship with a Christian known to be in sin so the person must come back on their own. I see it that when the change comes it will be genuine. Tough works, I have seen it but it is between the sinner and God. The spouse or parent of the sinner has their heart ripped out and great anguish sets in. If you trust God this is the way that he set up to deal with unrepentant believers. We need to be closer to our Christian family than our own family. If not then the sinning believe has nothing to lose when they leave. Cults imitate this to keep their flocks.
