Dear Family and Friends, We have had a few busy weeks. Rand was in the hospital last week over Christmas finishing up his last chemo. All went well!! We were able to celebrate Christmas with our family this Sunday which was a real treat and blessing. Rand's counts were good and he enjoyed the entire evening with the little ones. Nothing like four active little ones and a precious baby filling the house with laughter and joy. We have dates and information now for Rand's transplant and things are beginning to fall into place. We have found a place in Ann Arbor that we feel will be the best place for Rand and one that is reasaonable, and offers ammenities that will save us money in the long run...such as free breakfast every morning, free dinner buffets Mon. - Thurs. and free shuttle service back and forth to the hosptial. We had friends who stayed here for a long stay and they had nothing but good comments to share. So after lots and lots of calls and research we feel we are where God has lead us to be!! Here is a list of the chain of events: -We will be moving to Ann Arbor January 10th. -Rand's sister (his donor) and husband join us January 10th. Coming by train from Colorado. -January 12th Rand and Cindy at U of M for tons of tests and blood work. -January 13th-18th Cindy prepares for harvesting of her stem cells.-January 19th - Cindy's blood is harvested and Rand is admitted to U of M -January 20th- Cindy's blood harvested and frozen and Rand starts chemo-January 20-27 Rand continues with chemo -January 27th: Transplant Day for Rand-January 27th-February ? Rand recovers and builds up counts -February-March recovering at our HotelThat sort of gives you an idea of what is planned for the next couple months. We are trusting God to grant us the patience, endurance and grace for the journey and may He be glorified through the whole process. We have some dear friends that are going to let us borrow their lap top so I will keep in touch along the way. We are so humbled and completely overwhelmed by all the prayers and love that have been flowing on Rand's behalf --God hears each a everyone and I know for a fact that we feel them all. Love to you all,
