though I've bever really liked this woman she needs prayers both for her soul and my Dad just called awhile ago to tell me she is in the hospital.
As a kid she had polio that messed up one of her ankles and foot. Some years back she had surgery on her knee to correct the damage that was caused from all the years of walking on the gimp leg. She never followed through on the physical therapy so her leg from the knee down is about useless. My Dad said tonight she fell out of bed breaking the gimp leg. Tomorrow morning at 8 am the hospital plans on doing surgery on her leg.
I'll be driving up there in the early morning hours to be with my Dad at the hospital to give him support. (He too needs prayers for his soul as well and for comfort during this rough time - she has been less and less than a pleasant person since the knee surgery so this is hard on him. They'll be married I think like 45 years in December).
So prayers needed for Barb (my step mother), my Dad and I could use some as well for a safe trip there and back.
