My Fire Chief called last night to let me know, Jim Martin, one of our volunteer fire fighters had a heart attack at home. When the paramedics got Jim to the hospital, he had a massive heart attack, there was nothing they could do. Jim is now brain dead. The staff at the hospital have Jim on life support until the family tells the staff to turn off the machines. I've worked with Jim, I've fought fires with Jim, I can't believe he's gone, just like that. Please pray for the family and maybe just a little for me too.
