Our son Mike who is only 26 and the father of 3 beautiful little children gave himself to the Lord last year,but now this past 6 months has backslid into extremely heavy drinking and will not listen to anyone, I can't bear to see those children and his lovely wife going through all this. Please pray that God that renews him and rids him of the poison. Thankyou so much God bless you all1

the alcolhol and his backslidden condition! He may have to hit bottom before he seeks the Lord and comes back to Him! May God comfort and strengthen the children and their mother with peace to see this through and not give up on him! There's nothing impossible for God to do, so hold on to Jesus and have faith He is working it all out for the good of all and for His purpose!

I will pray - and though not comforting may explain why he isn't listening:
Lu 11:24 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
25 And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
26 Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
My prayers for Mike to return to God as did the son who took his inheritence and wasted it then returned. Heavenly Father I pray that you will send ministering angels to Mike to minister him back into the paths of righteousness. I pray Mike will return to the family of God and repent of his earthly ways that would lead to condemnation.
I pray too Father for the family of Mike as they need your protection, wisdom and courage to stay the course while Mike is setting a bad example for the children. Let your Holy Spirit move to bring him back.
Thank you Father in Jesus name. I nothing is impossible with You. Thank you for answered prayers. Amen.

I feel bad for you deblee-Make sure you protect the children;at all costs-I will tell you something most of you dont know-I had my own problem with drinking in the past-I was going thru a nasty divorce;wouldnt listen to anybody...I finally just decided to grow up;and got away from the bad things........Today;I am married to a great woman;I accepted Jesus at a Promise Keepers convention at the Pontiac Silverdome in Pontiac,Michugan in May of 1998-I am now a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brown City,Michigan-as well as a council member there-Do I still have a drink-Yes;I do,occasionally-BUT;only within proper boundaries-I dont need it now as a constant companion--"everything in moderation",as the Word says....I dont miss the drinking and carousing days at all-I have MUCH TOO MUCH to lose if I were to fall into that Satanic trap again-AND,let me tell ya,brothers and sisters;talking from personal experience;that is EXACTLY what it is.....PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!
