My brother & I were blessed for sure today. We went to see about getting him some tea...but the Health Food Store was closed...after we went and got a few other things and then we stopped at Circuit City to see about their TV sets. He was using my little 10" Philco black & white and wanted one for himself, as his other one had quit on him while in FL.
Well, we looked at them and found one that he liked a 15" LCD Flat TV (for placing it on a narrow Entertainment Stand that I have) and the price was right for him to pay...just under $200.00, but they had just sold the last one to someone else who was waiting to check out. When he found out that we wanted one and needed it tomorrow for the DISH to be hooked up (Gee, I'm joining the 21st Century!
) he said we could have it after they checked to see if it was still for sale at other stores. We would have to go to Fenton or Brentwood and since he lived close to Brentwood, which would be no problem for him to go to and they had five still for sale, he was so nice and let my brother have it. I told him, Well bless your heart and thanked him and then I said, "God bless you" and thanked him again.
A truly nice man and I suspect he was a Christian although he didn't say much when I was telling him all that I did! Just kinda smiled and was quiet! But said it would be no problem for him! With my back still hurting, I can't do a lot of driving, so we were going to have one delivered to my home but would taken 3 business days and not in time for the DISH guys or gals!
There truly are nice people in this world and God blessed us through him! I even asked the Lord to give him a special blessing, as I thanked Him also!
My brother had DISH in Florida and is having it put in my home, of course because he wants it!
