severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings out for MO & IL, my area only had strong winds, some rain but no hail or any damages (that I know of anyway)! Other areas had stronger winds, damages with one death reported in MO and one in IL! A clothing store in IL collapsed, so there could be more dead or hurt!

It was awfully hot today and knew that something would probably happen with the weather and it did! But most of it passed me by, so again Praise God and Thank You, Jesus, for Your many blessings!

God Bless & Happy Hunting ya all!

I'm glad you weathered the storm Betty, I was thinking about you as I watched the weather reports. We got hammered all night last night including two rounds with hail. We were in tornado watches until 6:00am this morning. The second storm hit us around 1:30 with very heavy hail that covered the ground like snow. It was pea sized hail and as soon as it gets daylight I'll get out and check for damage.

It sounded like the house would come apart. I'm surprised the windows didn't break, it was really loud. Some of the hail had melted by the time Sarah reminded me to get the camera.

The tornado watch has been extended to 7:30 am but local radar shows the clouds moving out of our area so there isn't any real threat.

We must have got the tail end of it last night. Some thunder storms moved through, but nothing too bad. :)

pray for those who lost everything including lives!

I just got off the phone with my wife, who is only one hour from home now. She said they got pounded in TN last night. She even slept in the basement!

has an older roof has several shingles torn loose and some laying on top of his house...doesn't look good at all! I guess he'll report it to the ins company before the rain ruins things! Mine may have needed a new roof had I waited but I'm glad I don't have to worry about roof damages! Could have used some help from the ins company though! :D

Several deaths and destruction in Tenn and hope you escaped the worst of the tornadoes! It was a tornado that hit the clothing store in the mall at Fairview Heights, IL. One man died and another rescued from having the roof fall on them! The one dying was a minister and loved by the community and church! They said he will be missed! He was buying suits for 7 young men for Easter Sunday, so died doing the Lord's work!

God Bless!

didn't hear any hitting the roof and etc. I hope the hail didn't damage anything of yours! The news people just said that Arkansas got grapefruit size hail....Now that's large and would put holes in roofs and break glass out of houses and cars! Heard that hail come through one person's trailer! May God have mercy upon us all!

God Bless!
Betty
