I did! Instead of the Junior High School, I went to my favorite place and detected the playground....did find four quarters and a few other coins for a change...guess I beat the other guy or gal to it. I also found a Blues Clues Paw.....print that is.... on a charm or small pendant for a child's necklace. I think it is sterling but not sure....really pretty!
After hunting surface coins and what ones I could pop out easier, because ball field way to hard packed to dig in and didn't want to cause problems with my hunting there, I found 17 quarters, 22 dimes, 10 nickels and 34 memorials. Took me about 5 hours to find 83 coins totalling $7.29 after lots of walking and trips to the water fountain many, many times! Was very humid after the rain and still tiring although there was a nice cool breeze most of the time! Never would have made it had it not been for the wind!
I was so dried out that I think I drank almost a gallon of water and lemonade combined! Didn't eat just drank! Still thirsty today!
I don't know how Steve does all that digging and hunting so often! Just about does me in to go when I do!
God bless all & Happy Hunting!
