there were more than 119 of them in the midwest. Several killed &/or hurt and lots of damages caused to many in diffent cities in MO and IL.
Monroe City & Festus, MO were hit hard! A two by four penetrated a brick wall of a nearly new home...cars, pickups, homes, farms and etc. were scattered all over the place! Huge trees uprooted or sheared off...a terrible situation for many!
Liz got hail but I don't know if I did or not....I know it must have rained hard as there was more water everywhere, but I slept through and don't really know what happened here! It did blow the aluminum pcs for over my garage door out onto the driveway. I put them back three times and then finally placed a pack of wrapped aluminum on top of them to help keep them from blowing off! Don't know if there was any damage to them or not but if so, they'll just have to reorder them before they can do the job correctly! Too windy for putting siding on garage and eaves today or even the gutter! They would have bent or blown out of their hands.....sure were strong gusts!!
I don't know if any damage was done to my new roof or not! But I hope not and pray that nothing happened to hurt anything!
Please pray for those who lost their loved ones and their homes. There are many left homeless and some lost everything they had! Sure sad for them, but some praised God for no loss of life as things can be replaced but people can't!
Hope all of you are doing okay and I'm praying for the prayer requests and for those who need comfort and healing!
God Bless!
