Yesterday evening I decided to get some practice in with our metal detectors. Besides my darlin' need it. I took ninety five cents in knickles and threw them in our front yard, it is sand, then came back in and got my tesoro cutlass II. My darlin' got out the gold bug and we started our hunt. Even though I put out the coins I only found two, my darlin' found eighty cents worth. That leaves ten cents unfound. Besides nails I found a 22 shell and a pair of nail clippers, and a bunch of other trash. It was fun. Our next practice will be with a variety of coins I have collected over the years. Like they say practice makes perfect.
