PP3 9.6v 230mAh rechargeables

I have a Fast Tracker fitted with a 10" coil, and am currently using 8.4v 200mAh rechargeables. Will performance improve if I upgrade to either:

a. Powerex 9.6v 230mAh

or

b. Powerex 9v 300mAh.

Any ideas guys?

Absolutely....The machine wants that 9 volts....Be careful though...the first charger I had was charging these to 10.72 volts....they were getting awfull hot in the charger...I no longer trusted them, and got new ones and a new charger to match them...
