POWER LINES

:confused:I have two power lines running over my house and yard.Any ideas on setting up the exp2 for that typof interference.New at the mtding thing. thanx

Try Low Sensitivity. Make sure that you also noise cancel, this should help out considerably. Try manual sensitivity and then semi-auto sensitivity to see which run the smoothest. Lower the sensitivity down until you get the least amount of chatter. Also try lowering the gain. This might be trying to pull in the signals from the power lines more if set too high. Maybe a smaller coil might help also. I hope you figure it out and hope something here helps you out. Good Luck and HH.

Have you tried it? There is a site I hunt that has power lines running overhead and its has no effect on my Exlorer II XS. You can even hear the electricity buzzing through the wires.

Not sure why but I get no interference and still can detect targets.
