trojdor I have dug 5 barbers here all came in at 12.36 to 12.41 they all are slick seems that they were dropped in the 40s talk about some thin dimes lol anyhow the place dates to 1920 . Yeah I have 25 of those tokens sube

Are those type of tokens old as the era of coins or are the current tokens
Any idea what there used for
I have a few and just thought it current tokens

I’ve found a bunch of those tokens too, they were either used in arcades, pitching machines used them, etc. The ones I’ve found are all modern.

Nice finds Sube. I have the CTX and the Deus and access to a lot of old alley ways and old traffic areas around power lines and I suspect an FBS machine will struggle less with the EMI. Unfortunately i'm waiting for it to come back from the shop to find out!.

It should be interesting to see what noise channel it picks. The 3 times I have hunted there it has picked 2 normally it picks 6 or 9 I have hunted here before and these coins did not show . Could be the transformer is working at a different level than the times I was there before ? good luck and let us know how you do .sube
