POWER BOOST IN HIGLY MINERALIZED SOIL

This question dovetails the other question I just posted on the forum:

I live in the North Atlanta burbs and we have very high mineralization here. When I turn the power up I'm getting lots of chatter (jumpy meter readings) - when I combine this with 3 frequency's the machine is unusable. Any way around this - what are others finding in high mineralization when using these modes, especially combining boosted power with 3 frequency's??

I don't think you will be able to use Boost in your ground. It is like turning on your high beams in a fog at night, you will get a lot of ground scatter. I'll let the guys in your area tell you what they use in the red clay. More power does not mean more depth, sometimes just the opposite is true. You want to run your RX and Discrimination sensitivity up as long as you have stability, when you start getting chatter you will have to back it down a little.
