Pounded Park...Whatever

Metal Magnet

New member
Headed on a super brief hunt today. Went to a pounded park and the signals were either junk or very iffy. Got a very interesting signal as I was nearing the end of my hunt. It bounced from 30s to 70s to 80s. But the signal was good enough to make me dig.

Dug the plug and the signal was a little sweeter. Dug some more and sweeter still. You just have to love that! Out comes a 1912 Barber Dime. Guy with the headphones on smiles ear to ear.

I have noticed that most of my deeper coins bounce the numbers around alot, that's why I listen more than I worry about the numbers. BTW nice find, just dug my first Barber quarter and dime this year.

I've been purposely leaving numbers that bounce around a lot no matter the depth; will have to try digging for those good tones that are deep- despite the numbers.

Yeah, dig those deep ones. Definitely an art to learning which ones produce. I've dug a lot of crud to learn.

Nice, makes me want to pick one up.
