thats a mighty find, looks like it was a solid 9" deep

That there is one heck of a trophy!:surprised: Especially that deep in the heavy trash of a pounded park! WELL done!:clapping:

Awesome find! Quick question...does the same concept of moving very slowly in a "pounded" area apply to the Minelab Safari (I have the standard coil)?

Wish I could help you but never ran a Safari. The E track processes a lot of information. The less you make that processer work the faster the response. In TTF with a very open screen you can tell when a good target is near iron or trash when you sweep slow. Sweep too fast and the iron will false with a high tone. To check this resweep that last hit and if you get a decent tone and corresponding good conductive numbers. Dig it. Not always a treasure but if you do it right there's a high percentage you will be rewarded. To double ck. the target with an E track you can Quickmask it and also check it in a Conductive Mode. When you get three positives like this its most always a keeper. Not experiencing the Safari I would still say if you acquire a target in whatever program it runs I would think to recheck the target with a slower sweet speed would not hurt at all. Maybe others can help with specifics to the Safari. Just to note I have under 40 hrs. On the Track so by no means an expert. This is just my 2,cents. HH Hunter.

Thanks HH Hunter. This post has enlightened me w/ regards to swing speed. Thanks for your "2
