Great Park today, My friend dug about 9 wheaties, and a war nickel, a silver broach and a 51 Rosie.Their was so much trash it was hard to concentrate. For a while I thought I had poop on my shoes or something, because all I had was 1 Wheatie. Then I began to roll. Picked up two 1943 war nickels, three wheats total, 1919s, 1942s, & 1945s. One key, a 40-82 rifle shell, then I dug a 1908 Barber dime at 1", and the surprise was a bottle cap that looks like a ball cap. Never saw one of those? Sorry about the pictures sideways.

The ball cap bottle top is pretty interesting. nice finds.

i've seen pictures on here where some one did electroyisis on rusty bottle caps and they showed the details of the old caps.

I haven't tried the electrolysis process on anything, but might be a good candidate to try it. Thanks for the suggestion.
