Sure wish I could have been there to join in on the festivities. A BIG thank you goes to Larry for taking over the meeting, the president's job, photographer, raffle ticket for the gold coin person, food delivery person and FOM Judge on top of all that. I'm sorry you didn't get to eat. I should of asked others to give an extra helping hand.
We missed you Nancy. Larry did a great job, it's almost like he had done it before. Had a good tima as usual, good food and wonderful people. I also got to talk to several new members. Very nice folks. Welcome to the club.
My son and I became new members last night and are very excited. We thought the meeting was fun and everyone we met was great. Very friendly. Even saw someone I used to work with.
We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, good food and thought Larry and the rest of officers did a nice job running the meeting. We were really surprised by the number of members and the great raffles and prizes that made the evening that much more fun.
We would like to thank everyone for their hospitality and look forward to seeing you all soon!
The fall silver hunt sounds amazing and we are hoping to make it but kinda up in the air at the moment. Soccer that morning but the game is early.
Hi Troy and Liam, Sorry I missed you, but that weather is for the birds. I just can't do it with my asthma. If you can't make it to the hunt, maybe you could come for a bite to eat. We always have an open door policy.
Thanks Daryl. At least someone missed me. I hated it but you guys know why. As for Larry, I heard he did a really good job. Yeah, he must have done that before. Oh, you should have seen him when he got home.........he was drenched. I felt sorry for all you guys and gals outside while I was at home in my nice air conditioned home. See you guys at the BIG hunt.
Hi Louie, Again, I'm sorry I wasn't there to meet you. We really have a great group of members and now you're one of them. I hope you'll find that out first hand. Welcome aboard. HH, Nancy
Troy, If you can make it by 11 AM you can still get in on the major hunts. The first two hunts, Poker hunt and Vintage detector hunt are pretty low key and we start turning up the intensity with the Old coin hunt at 11. Of course you are welcome anytime to just watch and have lunch if you don't want to hunt.
Thanks for info Larry. My son's eyes lit up with each coin you announced and how many. It was all he talked about on the way home. I guess I might of talked about it a little too. lol. Think we are going to do or best to be there. Game over at 9:20 or so and only takes about 25 min from where game is to the hunt. I'll bring 2 6' light weight tables I have also just in case they could be used. Count us in for now barring any unforseen things that may come up.
Peace.
