Potential gold mine......maybe not.

I know of several large tracks of land that used have neighborhoods on them during the 20s and 30s. I've been told that most of the homes were demolished during the 80s and 90s. Unfortunately, most of the property is also covered with power lines and telephone wires. My problem is that I can't get my XL Pro to stop chattering and buzzing the second I turn it on. I know there used to be a coil (ELIMINATOR LOOP) designed to eliminate this signal interference. However, this coil is no longer available. Any suggestions on how to overcome this problem????

I do not want to buy another detector.

I use the Eliminator loop on my XL Pro. The place I use it the most is right under the power lines with no problems! I try to use my DFX in the same area and it just goes nuts! I got mine used also. I suggest that you place a wanted ad on the classified section of this forum and see what kind of offers you get! Sure there has to be a few laying around that no one is using!
Have to say I found several wheat's and silver with this coil. Also works great in trashy areas!

Hi Circle C Digger.

I believe Applied Creativity still makes the Eliminator loop. Your local White's dealer may handle them . If not, contact sponsoring dealers on this forum or Jimmy Sierra 1 800 457 0875.

Good luck,
Bob

I got the elimanator coil what it does on the XLT in all metal mood it won't pick up targets above the coil. So good for fences and such. It is deep and works well but I would turn down your sens and try again
