Pot-O-Dimes

I was working a dirt strip and I found about 25 dimes just a few inches under the ground near a tree. All in about a 6 inch circle. Too bad they weren't old. No clue how they got there. Some kid I suppose. I found 50 coins for $3.94. Now off to work.

Sure nice to stumble on a spot like that. That would be considered a major spill. Nice find.:surprised:

Yea, to bad they weren't old, but they sure are clean. No wonder you don't have to tumble your coins. I'ld like to see you spend the coins I dig up with out cleaning them.

You found my dimes! Thanks a miilion. You still have my address, right?

You are getting closer and closer to that 1500.

I learned with my first serious detector 30 years ago, a :garrett: Money Hunter TR that any place that offers shade on a hot day is a good place to search for coins. People sit on the grass and lean on the tree truck. the coins fall out for you to find.

Another tip: I check around parking meters that are mounted on grass. Around just one parking meter in McAllen, Texas I recovered $2.25 in change! I figure people pull out their keys and/or coins for the parking meter and some coins fall in the grass out of sight.

Now: If I can just get the hang of this newfangled :garrett: Ace 250 Yeller Feller and make a few million.:detecting:

Now that's what I call a great spill.
When your ace went over that lot it musta been singin'.
Super haul m8.

 You know I don't spend them John. I shake them and then put them in the coin machine. It sucks them right up. It loves nasty looking coins.:clapping:
