[attachment 109318 DSCF2949.JPG] This is what i found last few days.I think the big iron spear thing is probably from iron age 5'' down tip came in as quarter.The lock i can probably clean and use ha and the round ring i can fling,the fishing sinker oh boy and button sew on coat,probably throw the coins away.Watched a western today guys pulls up in buggy but there is no hitch so he get out and has a leather strap with a big weight attached he hooks it to the horse ranees portable hitch post now if i find one i know what it is learn something new every day .thanks for looking
 
Look at it like this way Fred, you did a public service cleaning up the neighborhood.:biggrin: That steel ring does look like a hitching post ring we still have homes around here that have them in the front yard.:thumbup:

... I post all my finds including the trash. ALways look beyond the mundane with this stuff. It may tell you more than you know, if you look for it.
For example, I have come to be a site dating expert - by the different shotshell bases I find!
