Posting and Forum Traffric

While I may know diddly about metal detecting I do know about web development. I noticed when posting to a string that may be 3 to 4 pages deep the string stays on that page. In other words a person with a potential answer to a question may never see that because most people stay on the first 2 pages. I am suggesting that old posts when answered or new information is added be brought to the first page. This will indeed bring new conversations and much more activity...just my 2 cents. I know this will work.
 
You can. But the default is set so that you would never see those posts. It should be the opposite way around. Very few people will change it. That is fact Ive done years of research been on the net since 94 and had one of the first Ecommerce sites ever on line. Large companies pay me for this info. Its how I make a living.
 
You would have to talk to an administrator. Moderators have nothing to do with it.
