Exlusive, inside information Once again our fearless leader graces the cover of the FRL Spring Catalog. I will say that this time he looks like he's been working! I do miss the penny loafers though Congratulations Bill!

My headphones are famous! Radio Spares (UK Radio Shack) lower end 8 ohm headphones. I'm using them on my Fisher CZ7 now, they sounded better than the better headphones I have. Hey Bill, I put a new connector on them, LOL! I'm in old Germany this week. Traces of Celtic and Roman everywhere and it's frozen hard with about 6" of snow, ARGH! Detector is just sitting in the car. HH, Mike

Isn't that the trip that Bill broke about everything he got his hands on? Allen/NC noticed that the shovel looks funky. Bill, did you work on that too?

Thanks again for letting me use them (& break them:). Those things ARE nice & loud. They were louder than Chris' Grey Ghosts, & John's Jolly Rodgers, & just as loud as my all time favorite Killer B's. Yea, Tony your right....by the end of the week I had broken Mike's connector too I was an animal that week....but we had a blast & I wish we had never left. I wish I could be like Chris' taxi driver or something, but I'm not sure I'd be able to stay on the right side of the road (or is it the left?)

I'll never forget us trying to patch up those headphones one night after dinner Thanks to Ted for sacrificing solder from his broken headphones (did I break them too?) That "twisted" shovel actually has a story behind it. That's quite a "lucky shovel" from the back of Chris' van. It was used by TexasDave to find 2 gold coins, MassBill to dig up a Gold Roman ring, & I used it after I snapped another shovel.....it's a wonder my C$ made it through the week If I go again, I will pack 3 sets of Killer B's in my luggage!

Fisher must be givin you tonns of cash to exploit ya like that !! How did you rig up the mount for the coinstike ? Looks interesting.

No Fisher doesn't pay me anything....& I'm flattered they'd wanna use an ugly picture like that for something Because I was using the 10.5 coil on the C$, I have the control box on a Fisher "chest harness". It's a pretty cool set up with a belt & a strap that goes around your neck. Just being able to swing the rod all day is great.....later, Bill
