Post Labor day hunt. Heard ferrets can sniff out gold so gave it a shot.

Recap of the weekend.
No luck using a ferret, so back to technolgy and the minelabs.

Got out yesterday around 7am beach was empty with the exception of the hunters. Saw 3 in the water already, Les and Ken, didnt come up on the other though. Later ran into another 4 down the beach.
I got a small (2gr) 14k in the shallows.

Patty pulled a nice 14k white gold band not to long after and a silver ring and later a junk braclet.

The water was saw calm in the morning, like a mill pond, and fish were just going crazy, the the gulls and the pelicans showed up.

Found lots of sunglasses. This lady on vacation from NY, (the ones that ask What dja find?) saw a pair of glasses and gave patty $5 for them.

Finished off the day with a evening hunt and a spectacular sunset.

Hey Joe, 7 hunters out on Tuesday, mostly in the water. Only saw 2 on land. Things should be pretty quite now down here after Labor day.
