Post-Colonial Buttons

Got out after work & swung by the old cellar hole that I found the 1836 Large Cent in a few weeks back.

Found 3 flat civilian buttons. I threw away the first thinking it was a snap from a camper's tent. As far as the others go, one is...or was PLATED (Silver plated), the other GILT (gold plated). I believe the plated one is from the 1820's the gilted one appears to be much older, possibly pre-dating the American Revolution. That one still has some fabric attached!
