Great find on the meteorite(s)! But, how can you identify if it is actually a meteorite? I got a solid signal a couple of weeks ago beside a sidewalk. Dug up what looked to be a chunk of concrete. I had read a story of someone who got a signal on a piece of concrete and busted it open to find a coin. I busted mine open and it had what looked like a rock inside. But one side of the rock is kind of pourus and a magnet sticks to it. Any ideas?

All three was found in about a 1/4 mile area, all have fusion crust . Talked to a person in the area and he told me they have found meteorites in that area. The three I have are about the size of a golf ball and smaller.

I can't explain it, the way they responded was different then anything I have ran acrossed. With my CZ3D I can tell if its a gold ring on how the tone comes in, that's what's starting to happen with the ATG, I can tell what some targets are by the, how the tone comes, the duration of tone, and with IA set.
