I had got this at a site about 2 weeks ago and cleaned up best i could and found it was made by the Crown Silver Co but i'd really like someone to look at it and see what there opinion is of it i'm thinking 1870's?

no,sorry, not silver...woukld look just like a silver coin.....nice and shiney or black from tarnish...silver does not turn green or brown... better luck next time....ive never dug a silver spoon myself...i have dug 1 or 2 that were plated...
