Possible Problem In Edit Mode. Cody/anyone, Help!

I have a question while in edit mode. When I go to clear the very bottom of the factory preset "coins accept" display, the following "problem?" occurs: With edit mode "clear" and "smallest cursor" selected, I try to clear the bottom of the rejected screen. The cursor will not clear the bottom, but leaves a thin "line" (not cursor thickness) residue on the very bottom! Reject does the same thing in that it creates a very thin reject line with space below it I cannot reject! When I navigate horizontal, the super thin line. When I navigate up, the smallest cursor width! Changing to the next cursor size up now either accepts or rejects the full smallest cursor size! Then it all of a sudden changes to its larger size. Is this normal, or a possible defective machine? I was in the process of trying to replicate Cody's "blanking/coins program figure A and obviously could not get the left & right areas set up correctly.Any help would be greatly appreciated!:(

The cursor should step through the sizes in sequence. The thin line at the bottom is the same as my machines. When you want to clear the screen with edit and the cursor is down at the bottom for some reason we have to change to the medium or large one and scroll down then go horizontal and we see the line cleaning. If we then scroll up we will see the cursor reappear as if it comes up from below the bottom of the screen. This is an oddity of the detector screen in clear with that thin line at the bottom that has to be cleared scrolling further down with a larger cursor.

It is an irritant but I have always simply ignored this as I have seen similar problem when using LCD displays on other equipment so did not think a much about it.

With surface blanking we know that increasing sensitivity increases depth. So, decrease sensitivity to 1 or 2 and learn the site targets for rejection. Then clear anything that hits in the nonferrous area. Next go increase sensitivity back to about 27 or so and you will see that the deeper targets will be detected and the shallow ones rejected.
