Possible civil war canteen? HALP!

Well me and my dad took the AT Pro and the magnet on a mid-week metal detecting/magnet fishing adventure. Found some interesting things. One of which might possibly be a canteen. If so, I'm hoping someone can tell me if it's Civil War. I have found civil war items at this location before so I'm kind of excited to get some feedback.
