Possible antique eyeglasses

Does anyone know about how to date these spectacles? I found them at an old tuburculosis sanitarium site that the only thing left is the concrete foundation. The site dates to the 1800s as I found an 1893 indianhead on that same site. These were about 4 inches deep just about an inch shallower than the indianhead. The ground is hard there so the sink rate isn't that bad. They are made of very thin wire and the surviving earpiece is curved. The lenses are made of glass and are more like magnifying reading glasses. Any help would be appreciated as I plan on donating them to the area museum.

My guess would be late 1800s to early 1900s.

My mother is 88 and got her first pair of glasses at age 5. She still has them and the case they came in. All I can say is that they are similar in design except that the wire earpiece looks to be of finer wire leading me to think they may be older than my mothers. My guess is late 1800's to early 1900's...wish I could tell you more but that's the best I can do.

Thanks to all for your input. I will take them by the museum tomorrow to see if they want them.
