Portuguese coin!

Hi guys,

A friend of mine sent me these pics of a coin he owns... it's a Portuguese coin but other than that we can't find any info on it. I found many coins with the same inscription: Ludovicus 1 portug algarb: rex , but none with the star on the back. As of now I don't have any better pics to show.. :(

ANY help is greatly appreciated!
